Vincent Callebaut, a French-Belgian architect, has conceived and published what can only be described as a really cool floating eco-city for "climate refugees," reports said yesterday.
In the 1940's, remembered one of the speakers at the Ecocity World Summit this week, Istanbul was one of the winners of an international "beauty contest for cities," along with Rio de Janeiro.
"Venice gives us a hint of the truly possible and inspiring pedestrian environments," Richard Register, the founder of Ecocity Builders, wrote a couple of years back.
