Li Xun

Vice President, China Academy of Urban Planning & Design, Ministry of Housing and Urban Rural Development

Mr. Li Xun’s career path started in China Academy of Urban Planning & Design (CAUPD) in 1982. He began to host urban master design project from 1985 and was named Deputy Director in 1987. Mr. Li was selected as Vice Chief Planning Officer of CAUPD in 1995 and won “Outstanding Young Expert Award in Technological Management” awarded by MOC. Mr. Li was among the first national-level candidates of “National Science and Technology Leadership Development Program” approved by Ministry of Personnel and 6 other ministries, and was conferred Special Government Allowance by the State Council.

Mr. Li’s research mainly focuses on area planning, urban development strategy, urban comprehensive planning, Urban Sustainable Development, etc.
