Mr. Jiang Yi, who graduated from Tsinghua University, got his bachelor’s degree in Dept. of Architecture Engineering in 1977, master’s degree in Dept. of Thermal Engineering in 1981, and Ph.D. degree in 1985. In 1988, Mr. Jiang was sent to the U.K. as a visiting scholar for one-year further education by National Commission of Education. Selected as Academician of Chinese Academy of Engineering in 2001, Mr. Jiang is now serving as Vice President, Director of Department of Building Science and Ph.D. Supervisor of School of Architecture, Tsinghua University. He also acts as Consultant of Beijing Municipal Government, Deputy Director of Heating, Ventilation & Air Conditioning National Committee, Member of Architectural Physics National Committee, and Member of Intelligent Building National Committee.
Having been engage actively in education, research and project implementation of artificial environmental engineering, Mr. Jiang is an advocator of this subject. He has also made great academic contributions to many areas including simulation & analysis of architectural thermal environment, subway thermal environment, regulation & optimization of heat supply network, control & management of air conditioning system, etc.
In 1986, Mr. Jiang Yi was selected as Beijing Advanced Scientific Worker. He was also awarded with the 2nd Scientific Achievement Prize issued by Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development (MOHURD) in 1988, 2nd Beijing Scientific Achievement Prize in 1989, the title of “Government-sponsored Student Abroad of An Outstanding Contribution” in 1991, and the 1st Beijing Scientific Achievement Prize in the year 1991 and 1993. Mr. Jiang also got the 2nd National Scientific Achievement Prize in 1996, and the 2nd Scientific Achievement Prize issued by Ministry of Education of China in 1999, |
