Mr. Song Xutong graduated from Department of Civil Engineering, Tsinghua University, majoring in Water Supply and Drainage Engineering. He used to serve in Municipal Engineering Research Center, Chinese Academy of Building Research; Chinese Northwest Municipal Engineering Design and Research Institute; Water Supply & Drainage Institute of Municipal Construction Dept. and Urban Construction Design & Research Institute, MOHURD. He has won “Outstanding Scientific Achievement Award” because of some subjects of his leading project “Research of Environmental Quality Assurance Technology in Residential Areas” in 2000. His project “Research of Water Environmental Quality Assurance Technology” also got The 3rd Prize of Construction Scientific Technology Award. A member of drafters of ‘’ Relatively Comfortable Residence Standards’’, ’’National Housing Performance Evaluation’’ and ’’ The Technical Assessment Handbook for Ecological Residence of China’’, Mr. Song has participated in environmental quality evaluation & acceptance inspection projects in many housing residences.

Mr. Song is now serving as General Engineer Consultant & Professor Senior Engineer, Urban Construction Design & Research Institute. He is also a member of Expert Panel of Housing Industrialization MOHURD, Consultant for the Municipal Government of Beijing, Standing Director of China Civil Engineering Society. Awarded by State Department of the PRC with Special Government Allowance, Mr. Song has published more than 70 theses at home and aboard.
