To thoroughly apply the Scientific Outlook on Development, guarantee the harmonious development between human and nature and the urban planning construction led by the concept of sustainable development., People's Government of Guilin Municipality, Chinese Society for Urban Studies, Chinese Society for Urban Planning, Department of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Guangxi Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region will co-host the "2012 Conference on Urban Development and Planning" on June 12-13 in Guilin on the initiative of Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development, P.R. China. The 2012 conference takes “Livable, Low-carbon and Sustainable City Development” as its theme. In order to further the communication, paper collection will officially kick off.
